“It’s the devil! It’s the devil! It’s old Nick - the devil himself!” The lazy, coastal town of Stockston-on-Sea has had, to say the least, an interesting past. As the local tourist information office is always quick to point out, tales of witchcraft and devil worship have plagued the settlement since the Dark Ages. When three friends arrive at the annual Stockston Folk Festival they are looking forward to a weekend of real ale, Morris Dancing and bad pub sessions. However, the songs and stories that they hear soon lead them to uncover some of the more sinister events in the town’s past. A missing ‘hoodie’, a bizarre wave of church desecrations and the suspicious behaviour of some of the locals may hold the key to a millennia old mystery – a mystery that will test their friendship to its limits and eventually lead to an encounter with the legendary Devil of Stockston-on-Sea…….
