Tanner is a harried businessman who lost his reservation at an expensive luxury hotel, so he has to stay the night at a very Gothic looking Hotel Risqué Nuit. The check-in clerk is even a Goth beauty. Didn't matter, he just needed a good night's sleep. Tanner "wakes up" in a strange room. And then he realizes he was now a she, a very beautiful barbarian warrior woman called Tania, and on a very medieval type world. Dream? Didn't feel like a dream. If that isn't bad enough, Tania learns that she is tasked with a job by the local king, and the only way to return to his world and body is to successfully assassinate the King of Thieves. Easier said than done. On top of that, her royal employer may have other plans for her once the job is completed. This novella is a 13,500 word fantasy misadventure romp.
