It has taken vast teams of personnel the better part of a year to complete Dorothy’s mansion in Howth. She should be celebrating the fact that it is finished, yet is secretly dreading the day she has to leave her cosy apartment and take up residence in the new house. She knows that she was out and out crazy to have gone ahead and commissioned such a monstrosity just because some random American guy appeared to her in a vision. Alright so it was more like four visions. And a dream. Okay so it was the same dream three nights in a row. Even so. She doesn’t dare to express her anxieties for fear of ridicule. She is becoming increasingly aware that life’s myriad challenges don’t mysteriously evaporate just because you have money, although this wisdom is not generally perceived, and certainly not accepted by the population at large. Dorothy wonders how she and her trustee housekeeper might cope in a modest sized family dwelling, without the benefit of a media centre, a glass staircase or life sensing toilets. She strongly suspects that they would do very well, although, sadly, the simple life is no longer an option. As the Sick Puppy shifts the nasty game of cat and mouse up a gear, only the modern day fortress that is her new home stands between Dorothy and a grim fate. Perhaps the universe knows what it’s doing after all. Welcome to Book 3 - Help. Miracles and Millions - A story of Joy
