1989 TIANANMEN SQUARE TO EAST BERLIN In spring 1989, the Cold War is raging. In Beijing, thousands of protesters lay dead in Tiananmen Square. In Moscow, Mikhail Gorbachev is shocked at the hard liners in his own government who admire the Chinese for cracking down. In East Germany, people are voting with their feet, going on vacation through Hungary and on to Austria and not coming back. In Washington, FBI Special Agent Jaqueline Nogales, Latina extraordinaire, gets her make contact with leaders of the anti-communist movement in Eastern Europe and tear down the Berlin Wall.
