Gatherings

In Hope Slaughter Bryant’s new poetry book, Gatherings , she returns in Section l to her  childhood mid-western mountains, the Black Hills, her close family, and " those moments that call us back and we are there as if we never left." Section II “gathers up” poems about a variety of life experiences and images from many different places, and Section lll sorts through memories shared with her beloved husband and grief at his loss.
