Lucy loves animals. She loves the story Noah's ark. But what happens to all the animals who didn't ride in the ark? Did God kill them in the flood? Lucy is upset. She doesn't understand. Then she prays to God, and goes on a wonderful adventure. What will happen when it starts to rain, and her hippo friend isn't on the ark? This book explores the theme of faith, love, and death as depicted in the bible. God made the hippo and God made Lucy and he takes care of them. Though Lucy sometimes stumbles, she has faith in God's love and what looks like the end, she discovers, is actually going home.
