Resurrect

When the world fell apart, I held out hope that it could be fixed. Not with a nuclear bomb or military force, but by survivors coming together for the common good. Surely someone alive had an idea of how to reverse our fate, someone smart enough to see past all of the propaganda bullshit and discover a cure.I was wrong.I found a place that offers false hope, twisted reality and a future that I know no longer exists. There are good people there, but they are the minority. Most remain blissfully ignorant of the world around them. They hole up in their pretty little houses and pretend the world continues to spin like usual.But the longer they remain blind, the stronger the Withered Ones grow.I was right to fear them.
