Saphir who was raised by her grandmother was mistreated throughout grammar and high school so she became reclusive. Her weekends was nothing more than sitting on her grandmother’s steps writing in her journal. That was until she met Charlotte Deas. Now Charlotte was exactly what the girl craved.
