Janey's First Act

Janey Wong is just eighteen years old, but she knows what she wants to do with her life—she dreams of being an actor. Pursuing this dream can be hard: she knows that she may not succeed; her parents are hesitant and afraid, and her boyfriend can’t relate to her passion. When technology offers an interesting opportunity, Janey considers an alternate life. This is a coming-of-age science fiction story about young adults and the big decisions they must make, a story about ambition, honesty, technology, and growing up.
