The Mystic

For the first eighteen seasons of my life, I hid behind a veil of cloth. Even though that time is past, I now conceal myself with a mask of a different kind. One born of anger, to bury the shame I feel inside. A new enemy has appeared in our midst: the Ormyr. They have taken me captive and claim to know the location of an artifact—Aeron's Mirror. Coldly uncaring whether I live or die, they have trapped me in a maze created by the Mystic himself, a bizarre snare of perilous monsters and cunning trials. They believe that if I can defeat myself, The Mirror will be theirs. But nothing terrifies me more than delving into the darkness of my own soul. I am cursed, and nothing will ever change that.
