In the autumn of 2004, Amy is smitten when a new girl comes to town. Something about Summer beguiles Amy, and she quickly takes her under her wing, much to the dismay of her friends. But, at the end of the following summer, tragedy strikes when Summer goes missing after a party, presumed dead. Twenty years later, Amy has quit a job in the City and bought a house back home by the coast. Then strange things start to happen and a note is put through her ‘I know what you did’. The threatening notes continue and, in desperation, Amy gets back in touch with her old friends to see if they know anything. They’ve had messages too – and they’re scared. What do the notes mean? What did happen all those summers ago? And why is it being dug up again now?
