Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would come to us and I had a little brother whose nickname was Abu ‘Umayr. He had a pet sparrow he used to play with and it died. The Prophet entered one day and saw him grieving, so he said, “What is the matter with him?” They said, “His sparrow has died.” The Prophet said, “O Abu ‘Umayr, what happened to the little sparrow?” This book presents a poetic interpretation of the Hadith above, illustrating how our Prophet (PBUH) comforted a young boy following the death of his pet sparrow. Each page is adorned with beautiful illustrations, and the concluding pages feature images of birds designed for colouring. Educational: Introduces children to inspiration and faith and guides them in their discovery to build a connection with God. Provides children with inspiration to seek the benefits of a positive relationship with the world and the creatures in it. A perfect gift. What’s in the Book: Beautiful illustrations throughout.
