The Dinesh Allirajah Prize for Short Fiction 2023: The Uncanny Stories

Comma Press and the University of Central Lancashire are proud to host the annual Dinesh Allirajah Prize for Short Fiction, in memory of much-loved lecturer, author and musician Dinesh Allirajah (1967-2014). The theme for the 2024 Prize is ‘The Uncanny’. The seven stories in this anthology were chosen by students at UCLan from over 300 submissions as the finest examples of this. This year's judging panel included Dr David Hartley, Dr Stephen Curtis, David Sue and last year's winner Monica Kam.
