Love, Life, and Vengeance

Infamously hailed for notoriety in music, mayhem and murder, Detroit, aka The Motor City has also come to be known for its classical ruins due to its abundance of architectural feats that have been ravaged by greed, poverty and despair. But “the ruins” in and of the city did not limit themselves to structures, the ruins have extended themselves and flooded into the lives of the people feeding them an overwhelming struggle. What if you woke up every single day of your life and met with a never changing, ever growing struggle. Would you survive? Could you endure and fight? Struggle binds and brings this crew together. Each and every one of them has a struggle and each and every one of them are battling to come out on top. And for some, the drug game seems like a breezy elevator ride to take them where they want to be. Meet Blue. His struggles came often and early in life. Losing every living family member forced him into foster care, where he struggled for love and money. When he found Sheena and love blossomed between the two he'd tackled one struggle, but when she got pregnant that compounded the other. He was determined to remove money as a struggle before his son arrived but in the end will he overcome the struggle or will the struggle overcome him? (Love and Life) Sheena too, was plagued with a barrage of struggles in her young life. And since one of them was abandonment by her mother, she also struggled for love. Love is the most important thing to her, because in her mind it is the only thing worth struggling for. (Love) For Gigi, life wouldn't be right if she weren't tackling a hurdle or battling in a fight. It's all she knows, so she never backs down or runs from a fight. Cross her and you've most likely signed your name in blood. She never forgets....ever. (Vengeance) And finally there's Reggie. His struggle is similar to Blue's. He just wants to make enough money to go legit for the sake of his son. He doesn't want to be a hustler for life. He wants to make the clean transition from street entrepreneur to a real entrepreneur, but in and out is never as easy as it seems.
