Walking the Story

Pilgrims have been walking the ancient pilgrim way to Santiago de Compostela for over a thousand years. For many, the beauty and terror of the natural world, the lives of those who have walked this way before them and conversations with fellow pilgrims lead to new and different encounters with God and make their journey a spiritual pilgrimage. This book tells the story of one pilgrim's journey from the French side of the Pyrenees to walk the 500 miles to the ancient pilgrim destination of Santago de Compostela in north-west Spain. Jane Leach tells the story of her journey and explores some of the questions about God and abouth the Christian faith that arose in conversations on the way. Through meditations and resources for group study, the author explores the resonance of pilgrimage imagery for living the Christian life today and invites the reader to a deeper exploration of their own pilgrimage of faith.
