The Harvest - Poetry of my life - Born in Belfast - All proceeds to Oxfam Ireland

I was born in Belfast 9 August 1962. In 1972 we lost our home due to the troubles and moved to Manchester. I returned to Belfast in 1988 with an English husband and three children, in 1992 my fourth child was born. August 23 1994 my mother died prompting a spiritual & philosophical journey. My marriage ended in 1995 and I was left to bring up my children on my own. I have written poems from as young as I can remember, my mum being my inspiration to keep them. Around 1991 melody's came with new poems, I got together with two musicians to create the music and around 1998 I recorded an album with them. I have continued to write songs and poems as an expression of my feelings and I have recently returned to the recording studio which is funThis collection of poems and songs have been written mostly based on my life experiences from teenage years to date.
