The Merman

Life has not been easy for Stephanie ever since she was abducted and left to drown in the ocean by her kidnappers as a teenager. She survived, yet without any recollection on how she was saved. But then, one night 10 years later, a strange creature - half fish, half man - reveals itself to her, and with it all her lost memories return. It is Aldrian, the merman who saved her, and he came back to ask Stephanie to return the favor.Aldrian explains that, unknown to humans on land, the mystical Leviathan is in fact real and lives in the deep sea trenches of the world. He remains there in a deep slumber that is sustained by one special merperson, who has the ability to sing so beautifully, that it keeps the Leviathan asleep. But the current chosen merman, Tristan, has left his duty and fled on land. This is part of a plan by Tristan’s evil brother Thidrik, who hates humanity for destroying the oceans. Thidrik wants to let the Leviathan wake from his sleep and destroy both the old merfolk society as well as wreaking havoc along the coastlines of the world, killing millions through earthquakes and tsunamis caused by him.Together with Aldrian and his friends Bryn and Mars, Stephanie has less than 24 hours to find Tristan and convince him to return to his duty. But Thidrik and his army of blood thirsty merfolk does everything to make way for the Leviathan to rise, and time is running out...
