Broadcasting Christmas Cheer

Madison Crawford can’t believe she landed her dream job as a broadcast reporter after graduate school. An unexpectedly lucky break. Eager to prove her merit, she started working and never looked back. Six months later, Lakewood still doesn’t feel like home. Rocko, her pet hamster, seems to be her closest companion and often comes with her on multi-day excursions. While filming a restaurant segment, Rocko breaks free and scuttles into the upcoming hotspot’s packed dining room. Madison attempts to make amends as the health department lays down a harsh punishment against the small town establishment. It’s out of the fire and into the frying pan as one accident ignites the next. A question dances around the back of Madison’s mind. Are the local spots all experiencing simultaneous health code blues, or is a more sinister plan cooking behind the scenes? With the town’s Christmas fundraiser only a few weeks away, Madison leaps into the mystery that might make or break more than just her career.
