This book is an introduction to the theory and practice of Modern Communism, Bolshevism, and dialectical and historical materialism. The first twelve chapters deal with the origin of humans, the evolution of humanity through three hunting and gathering Band stages and then the transition from this long period of Primitive Communism to the Servitude Epoch (consisting of the three stages of Slavery, Feudalism and Capitalism) via two intermediary Chiefdom stages. The mid-section of the book deals with the Socialist Stage from the Bolshevik Revolution of October 1917 through the construction of Socialism in the USSR and the spread of Bolshevism to China. The book deals extensively with the preparation for and conduct of World War II by the Soviet Union and the international communist movement including the Red Secret Service (Cheka.) Accordingly the most extensive presentation yet made public of the role of the Magnificent Five (Kim Philby, Donald Mclean, Guy Burgess, Anthony Burgess and John Cairncroft) as well as the Red Army Intelligence China recruits Roger Hollis and Wallis Simpson is included. The final third of the book deals with the Labor Movement in the USA including the development of the world petroleum industry. A special chapter explains with much new material why the USSR collapsed along with its East European and Mongolian dependencies.
