When Day Breaks

I created a monster. And she draws me in like a moth to a flame. But she’s not my only affliction. There’s a war on the rise and I can’t focus on much else when my wife teeters the edge of self-destruction. She quite literally lit my world on fire and I am trapped by the torment I’ve caused her. I have never been afraid of the dark. But she is my gravest shadow and if I can’t help her to step back into the light before time is up, we both might just drown in the darkness. Of all the things that unravel in the kingdom: treason, betrayal, revenge, curses, and war . . . My only hope is that I can survive my sweetest sin.
