End Times & The Rapture

Jesus promised to come back. Are you ready to meet him? There have been so many prophetic words given down through the ages about life as we know it coming to the end. John Hargrove was born in Riverside County, CA. He has lived in Southern California all of his live. He has received a considerable amount of Biblical Education with a theology degree in Bible. He also has a MA from Pepperdine University in education. He is now a retired Public School teacher. He has continued to teach the Bible in his retirement years. Verna grew up in rural America. She and John married in 1956. They have 5 children, 9 grandchildren and a great-grandson. She received a call from God to do personal evangelism at the the age of 7, but not converted until age 11. She met John while attending a missionary training school in LA. They have both been Bible teachers and authors for quite some time. Different places in the Bible give us picture of where we are on God's time table. A strong one has to do with the nation of Israel. Whether we like it or not, God considers them special descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They are his kids even whether they are disobedient or obedient. God gave them the law, knowing they could not keep it. But he wanted them to figure that out for themselves so they would turn to God and believe that Jesus is their Messiah. Their going back into the Land of Israel in 1948 is important. So is their taking over the City of Jerusalem. But we are God's spiritual kids, growing in the spirit, since we believed in Jesus.. I base these comments on the Bible. Strangely, we were all born into this world as sinners who love to sin. It comes natural. There is nothing we could ever do to save ourselves, except believe that Jesus paid the penalty for our selfish deeds. This is proof of the power of our words. When we confess Jesus is our savior and Lord. the Holy Spirit takes up residence inside us. Using Gd's Word, the Holy Spirit teaches us about the blood of Jesus that purifies our souls. It is not technical. But rather quite simple (and free). So if you are in a group that you are paying or working to get saved, you are in the wrong place. Satan makes up false religions that lead us astray. Remember this: Gd is good all the time; the devil is bad all the time. If it is good, it is from God. If it is bad, it is from the devil.
