Middle Park: The Way We Were

Social change and world events over the past 100 years have moulded the way Middle Park has developed. Middle Park: the Way We Were documents its social development, changes in the way we shop, how we socialise and even how we use the foreshore as compared to the residents of long ago. This book also tels the stories of the Greek migrants who flocked to our suburb in the 1960s and the young men who went away to the FIrst World War, some never to return. Finally, there are some tales of the 'dark side' of our recent past.
