Ainsley Davis said good-bye to the love of her life seven years ago. Too big for the mountains, Ainsley has made a life for herself in New York City. Away from her overbearing parents, and everything she had ever wanted. This year, though, she's home for Christmas, and her past is about to walk back through the door and break down walls she had desperately tried to build. Jamie Thompson has been holding onto the girl of his dreams since she left him in New York City After an injury that destroyed his NHL career, he's back in Lake Placid, running the family business and so far from over Ainsley Davis that it's getting a bit ridiculous. He thinks he's finally ready to move on, to say that past is past, until she shows up in a cable-knit sweater and blows that plan to smithereens.
