Blush

A (free) young adult short story about friendship and acceptance. On this anti-prom night, Cathy and Matthew are fulfilling a promise they made to each other. They’re sharing a bottle of champagne, toasting with every sip the small events that peppered the first year of their friendship. Cathy, though, wishes it could become more than friendship. Maybe tonight..? (This free short story was originally written for the charity anthology Shades of Pink in 2013.)
