Day One

In our first issue: Sheila, a short story by newcomer Rebecca Adams Wright, explores the relationship between an elderly widower and his cherished (and robotic) spaniel, Sheila. Humor and humanity blend seamlessly with science fiction in this clever take on love, attachment, and family. "Wrought," a poem by Zack Strait, examines the trappings of love and identity through vivid imagery and a wry lyricism. In "A Conversation between Rebecca and Zack," our authors share more about their literary influences, writing collaborations, and their visions for future work.
