Friern Barnet Library - Occupied and Opened
Rosie Canning Libraries are not just a place to get books or to use the Internet. They have always been a community space, a place where people from all backgrounds can meet and discuss current affairs, hold literary events, musical soirees, or just keep warm. We have lost our town halls, our museums, our listed buildings, our post offices, our civic pride, to the developer and now our libraries.
All over the UK public libraries have been closed, the fight to save them continues. What happens when a council closes a library against the wishes of the community they serve?
