THE ODD ONE OUT Primitive Poems from the Past
Leonie van de Vorle This book of poems was born in my late high school years in the early 1970's during boring classes when I would "doodle". It was the era of Woodstock, the Vietnam War and nuclear bomb tests in the South Pacific.
The poems are outpourings of my young and passionate soul speaking of my time and place in the world, a world I was bursting to discover yet a little too naive to know.
They ended as abruptly as they began, in the mid 1970's when I returned home after the death of my younger brother. For 30 years they lay dormant, the urge to write had also "gone".
Now, nearly 40 years later they see the light of day. Look out for more, and other stories to come!
