The Executioner's Apprentice And The Blind Bandit

During a period of relative inactivity the executioner and his apprentice are summoned to a village in Norfolk to execute a notorious bandit whose gang have spread terror on the road to Norwich. But the bandit's final confession provides the apprentice with an opportunity he cannot resist and soon he has left the relative safety of his master's side and set off on a dangerous adventure to obtain riches beyond his wildest dreams.
