Orphan House

Seventeen year old Sarah Withers is an orphan, living in a group home run by a neglectful old bat who cares more for the bottle than for the children in her care. However, Sarah receives a letter in the mail one day that changes her life-a birth certificate and a letter from her recently deceased birth father, declaring her the sole heir to his estate, including a large sprawling house secluded in the wooded countryside of Virginia. Underage and unable to take ownership, the house becomes the property of the group home. The mistress of the house, Ms. Diane Crawford, being the greedy woman that she is, decides to move the kids and herself into this new home until such a time as she is able to legally adopt young Sarah. At first, everything is beautiful and new, and a budding romance with one of her fellow orphans seems to be on the rise. The house has secrets, though. Ones that weren’t ready to be dug up. Living in the house with so much history - and a bloody history at that - awakens Sarah’s hidden magic, revealing her inner witch. Suddenly, she's seeing shadows move about the estate and receiving visions of the house’s history - along with why her parents gave her up, what really happened to her family, and the secret life of her new romantic interest. Suddenly, one by one, the children in the home start disappearing. It’s up to Sarah to save them-and herself-before the house consumes them all.
