L.A.W. Investigations Rhyming Pierre and the Pirates Gold

Luci Ann Wilson and Danny Newsome are fourth graders who ride the school bus. A neighbor asks for their help as they walk home from the bus stop. He has lost a coin, a magic coin it turns out. He wants them to help him find it. Their neighbor, Pierre, is a strange man. He always rhymes when he talks. He is creepy looking, too. Luci and Danny decide to help him anyway. They form L.A.W. Investigation. They call themselves investigators. Danny is a little upset when he realizes that LAW stands for Luci Ann Wilson, but he gives in. Luci may be braver, but Danny, no chicken, is also better than Luci on the computer. He finds things to help them while they look. Soon however, they discover the real secret behind the coin. They know that they are the only ones who can stop Pierre as he tries to bring ghost pirates and their gold back to the little town where Luci and Danny live.
