Substitute Mate

One moment I am the sister to the bride and the next I’m the blushing bride in an arranged marriage to a complete stranger. As alpha of one of the largest packs in Alaska, I am a busy man. My pack feels it is past time for me to mate and have cubs. The other pack is looking for more power. So, an arrangement was brokered between our packs, a strategic alliance. As part of the deal, it was agreed that I would marry the other pack alpha’s daughter, a stranger who is said to be beautiful. However when I arrive to claim my prize it is obvious she does not want to uphold her end of the bargain. Honestly, I am not that upset. I am about to blow the whole deal out of the water because my true fated mate is in this house and is not my intended. One look at her, and I realize I’m done running. Time is up, and whether she likes it or not, she’s mine.
