Growing up Patrick always envisioned his life raising a family with his sweetheart Shannon.They would spent their days watching their family and crops grow on their farm. That all changed as Europe descended into the bloody chaos of World War One. Patrick pondered his life. With the prospects of adventure and the chance to gain Home Rule for his beloved Ireland he joins the Army. Leaving his pregnant bride behind he goes off in search of freedom and glory. However, soon after his arrival in the trenches his quest for adventure turns into a fight for his sanity and life.
