The Nauvoo Years

Saints who came to Nauvoo in the early 1840s sacrificed their time, talents, and money to build the Nauvoo Temple and build the Kingdom of God on earth. During the Nauvoo period, conflict existed in plural marriage, apostasy, conspiracy, persecution of the Saints, attempted kidnapping of the Prophet Joseph Smith, attempted murder, murder of Joseph and Hyrum Smith, and the trial of the murderers.
