Strangers Into Friends

Leaving Jefferson High in Seattle to spend her senior year going to school in Manchester, England while her teacher-father exchanges jobs with an Englishmn, has two strong appeals for Kathy. One is the thrill of living in England for a year, and the other is the relief of getting away from Jefferson where she is rather out of step with her contemporaries.
