Zena McGrath is a detective working for an International Police Organisation. A number of Catholic Priests have died in mysterious circumstances, she flies to Rome and meets Cardinal Donatello who trains priests to do exorcisms. He convinces her that the Priests were all Exorcists possessed by evil spirits and to let the Vatican handle it. When another priest is murdered in New York, Zena is enticed into a trance during a Satanic ritual to find out who is really behind the murders. This leads to the overthrow of world religions, a shocking finale and the second coming of Jesus Christ.
