Advanced Differential Quadrature Methods

Due to their high accuracy, convenience of use, and flexible capability to solve a variety of problems, differential quadrature methods are often used by researchers to find approximate numerical solutions to problems that cannot be easily solved using the computer or other means. However, use of the direct differential quadrature method is somewhat limited when problems are strongly nonlinear. This book explores the new methods that address this issue. It presents the most important developments in differential quadrature methods for applied mathematics, computational mechanics, and engineering that have been found in recent years.
