'Magnetic Fingers: A Bibliophile's Holiday' Stapled booklet printed by the Tartarus Press and limited to 100 numbered copies (although their website states 150). The man who resolutely pursues the second-hand book through innumerable catalogues and endless antiquarian shops, is either the victim of a bad habit or the master of a very demanding hobby. A many-sided hobby too, for the morphosis of the quarry is infinite, and consequently a strict self-imposed discipline is essential for success. As percy Muir once commented, "...it is useless to attempt to teach the 'why' of it; either you have the virus in your blood or you have not."
