As power struggles have arisen throughout Ancient China, a deadly struggle begins to emerge from the King's own seraglio. Ninghu agrees to her brother, Yuanren's plan to disguise herself as an eunuch servant to her brother in order to get close to the King. However, the plan is risky and dangerous. It becomes even more risky as Ninghu becomes infatuated with the King's most trusted advisor and eunuch, Lingyu who suspects Ninghu's true gender.
