Village Homes' Solar House Designs

A collection of 43 energy-conscious house designs, with photographs, floor plans, and illustrations. Village Homes is a 70-acre solar subdivision in Davis, California, designed both for the development of a sense of community and for the conservation of energy and natural resources. All of the houses use at least 50% less energy than conventional equivalents. The subdivision is still going strong 30 years later in 2013!
