Five years after walking out on the family ranch to join a trail herd heading north, young Cal McCale hears his brothers are in trouble. Returning to Texas, he finds family loyalty means nothing; his brothers--the so-called 'Three Tough T's'--have gambled away his share of the ranch and plan to drive the herd over the border to Kansas for a quick sale. Cal must decide who comes first: himself or his brothers.
