Out of Time

Snatched from the decks of HMS Spartan by a space/time anomaly during a fight with a French frigate, Midshipman Harry Heron, Boy seaman Ferghal O'Connor and Powder Monkey Danny Gunn find themselves four hundred years in the future aboard the huge starship NECS Vanguard. Trapped in the future, they have a choice, adapt, learn - or become laboratory specimens and curiosities ... The one bit of luck in their favour is that the starship is commanded by a descendent of Harry's family. Kidnapped on the colony world Pangaea and subjected to abusive tests and trials, they escape and demonstrate that their old fashioned knowledge and skills still have a use and a place. In an explosive climax the story sees their return to the home Harry and Ferghal left some four hundred years earlier.
