Vietnam Revisited: From Covert Action to Invasion to Reconstruction
David T. Dellinger In Part One, I present some highlights (really lowpoints) of a mostly unknown history, from 1945 to 1965, that had catastrophic results for millions of Vietnamese and hundreds of thousands of young Americans and their families, lovers, neighbors and friends. In Part Two, I concentrate on the present situation in Vietnam. Another aim, or course, is to provide some useful first-hand information about the nature of a society that has played such an important role in our recent history.
