Alex Bolton is a police detective on the verge of losing his family and his job due to his aggressive nature. He is given one last chance to regain both, although it does not look as though he will succeed. Diana Pearce was once a rising teen superstar. Now she is nearly broke in every way possible. Desperate for one more shot at fame, she is willing to do just about anything for that shot. And Diana's manager is preparing to use Diana for just such an event. What neither Alex or Diana is ready for the sudden eruption of the once-invisible spiritual war into our world. A demon by the name of Hobbs has been sent by Satan to ensnare Diana's soul, and Hobbs will stop at nothing to accomplish his mission. Alex is chosen to become Diana's protector and champion. Can he overcome his own internal demons and believe in the power of God before Hobbs can be victorious?
