The Rainbow Pony

Best friends...Forever? Alice Brown and Jinny O'Neal are best friends, but bossy Jinny walks all over Alice. Jinny tells Alice how to wear her hair, and pockets all the money they make baby-sitting together. Alice knows its not fair, but she doesn't like to fight. But then she rescues a pony from the back of a truck that overturned, and the driver gives the pony to her on the spot. Alice's dad has a "no animals" rule, so she keeps the pony secretly at Jinny's place. Soon, though, Alice will have to find a way to take care of the pony herself, even though that means standing up to her dad...and Jinny, too.
