A Dangerous Talent For Time

On Alysia, mutant Talents are banned because of their feared abilities. The most dangerous of all is the Tellurian Talent that can manipulate time. Time Master Richard Steele discovers a renegade time Talent in the past who is changing events and damaging the timelines. He must find this person and stop him, or her, before it is too late. In that past, Elyssa Armstrong watches her home burn, her mother kidnapped and her father, Commander of the Royal Guard, killed by invading northern barbarians led by the Baron Theran Cadwell. She runs for her life right into the clutches of a slave trader named Boris who sells her to a young Sunglast lord named Brand de Fyre Elitas. Elyssa can't decide whether to kill the young lord for his arrogant attitude or to love him for his charming smile. Because he is noble, Brand's life is also in danger. So they both flee, looking for safety, to Hieronymous Steele, ex-prime minister of the suddenly mysteriously dead king. But nowhere is safe. He gives them the first piece of a riddle, scattered throughout the kingdom, that when solved could show them how to save the realm. Together all three embark on a search for the rest of the pieces of the riddle. They encounter wild adventures where they meet extraordinary characters.
