Reg is just an ordinary bloke in a job he doesn’t like. He’s afraid of his boss: the domineering, power mad, market owner, Sheena McKinley. He has no love life, no friends worth mentioning and, to cap it all, he’s not feeling very well. Can things possibly get any worse? Abducted by person or persons unknown, Reg is subjected to a nerve shattering series of events leading to his being witness to a grisly murder. Rescued in the nick of time, by his kidnapper, he discovers that things are far from over. The mystery deepens and fate decrees he still has a part to play; this time it is the starring role supported by a desperate gang of unlikely allies.
