The Best of Dagmay

Since 2007, DAGMAY, the weekly literary publication of the Davao Writers Guild, has published works of fiction, poetry, drama, and creative nonfiction from more than 200 young Davaoeño and Mindanaoan authors. Writing in English, Bisaya, Tagalog, and the regional languages, these budding writers have given new voice to the region as they seek to define who they are and what they see Mindanao to be . This volume presents the best works published in Dagmay from 2007 to 2009 as selected by Ricardo M. de Ungria, Macario D. Tiu, Jhoanna Lynn B. Cruz, and Dominic Gerald M. Cimafranca.
