Buried Regret

High school, a place some find struggling. Everyone starts out pure but not everyone keeps that. Friendships get broken by betrayal and popularity. At other times, your best friend becomes the player to break your heart. Ares isn’t popular or even remotely liked. He has no confidence. His best friend flirts with other boys and that strikes him painfully since Ares loves Rico. Because Ares is scared to be judged for being gay at school and by his family, he has remained in denial for a year. After creating uproar in Rico’s family once Rico mistreated Ares, the shy 16-year-old decided to no longer be seen as nothing. He tipped the scale and gave Rico a taste of his own medicine, becoming a player too. Is this really who Ares is supposed to be or is high school breaking his pure heart for revenge? Add in Rico’s male cat Destroy and Ares’s male cat Fury being in love. It’s kind of difficult to get revenge when your cat is begging to see his partner that so happens to be owned by the enemy you now have.
