The Secret of Hunter's Keep

Daniel is twelve. His father is a gamekeeper on a country estate, who breeds pheasants for the annual shooting season. Foxes are his worst enemy, but to Daniel they are beautiful creatures - to be saved at all costs. When one cub survives a cull, Daniel raises it in secret.
