Mike Reynolds is in his final year of university when he receives word that his seventeen-year-old sister has been brutally assaulted. He returns to his northern home on a mission to find her attacker and before long finds himself right in the middle the towns drug dealers. The police take an interest in him and Mike secretly takes on an assignment to watch their movements and report anything suspicious. Things get interesting when a drug war erupts and suddenly the territory is under fire. During it all, Mike meets an attractive young lady and finds they both enjoy a love for sailing. He and Kim restore a sailboat together and as events unfold Mike learns that it wasn’t an accident that caused his father’s death years earlier, he had been murdered. As they look deeper, they come up with more interesting findings and more dangerous situations for he and Kim to navigate. In the end Mike's help to proves invaluable to the police and Kim's help proves invaluable to Mike.
